Watch 1-12. This will give you a good chunk. Fill in the words, "They did not meet for 6 months..." Skip to episode 19, part 3, of the episode. This should be where Cun Xi tells Anna how he really feels.
Fill in the words, But Xin Yi finds out devastating news... The operation may have left her without the ability to have kids due to excessive hemorrhaging.
Cut to Episode 23 part 4. Ignore all time markers and fill in 6 months. Watch this episode to the end.
What does this do? This spares you from hating Xin Yi, Cun Xi, FTLY and spares you some nasty filler stuff. Such as the drama of Anna. Such as the long lost sister crap they put in. Such as the Shanghai stint... Such as banging your head against a wall.
Believe me, I have a good handle on how writing works, this will work. Then you can imagine this was actually at 14 episode drama filled with bliss.
Additional rewrites that may spare pain:
1-12 Fill in, but Xin Yi found out from the doctor she can no longer have children... she disappears for 6 months but returns with new confidence to get a divorce. Skip to episode 23, Part 4.
You may also want to fast forward the Xin Yi family moments too. >.<;; That's just painful. Whining is not funny especially with horrid acoustics. Better to just fast forward and imagine their voices talking in Mandarin.
